Recommendations for single 18650 torch (backup)

Recently got one of these off AliExpress, very impressed.

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/BORU...4f5d4c4dUVmcB1

Now I am looking for a single 18650 battery backup torch, handheld, the smaller the better.

Any suggestions from the torch gurus ?

Oh I'm looking for one too. Do you want flood or spot?

I have one of these, it is my daily carry. It has only three setting plus a turbo that only stays on for thirty second then drops back to the lowest setting. I usually use it on the second setting which requires a double click for on and one for off. The reason I bought as it is the smallest 18650 torch I could find and it has no annoying flashing function.

My daily carry. I prefer this type of button to the rear one.

    Check out the Nitecore LR12
    1x18650 1000 lumens

Bit of a strange setup as it doesnt have switch - you turn the base on and off to get through from high to low and then back to high again.

The front extends so you have a lantern with a max runtime of 900hrs on 1 lumen but realistically you wouldn't use it below 60 lumens so around 24 hrs.

    106mm x 27mm so quite compact.
    Regards

I have heaps of generic 501B's, in bags, in glove boxes, tool boxes, .... Cheap, cheerful and reasonably robust. Can get different modes and different LED's, including UV, IR and visible colours.

I've got a NITECORE HC30 and it is a great torch. it comes with a headband too but is an L shape which comes in really handy and is only slightly bigger than the 18650 Battery itself

They're awesome, 162m throw for an hour at full power - a pity the distributor doesn't bring them in anymore.

The downside is that Nitecore NZ won't cover the warranty if anything goes wrong with it.
