Hi all
Due a new pair of boots. Have Meindl’s right now, done me really well, over 10 years, soles still in good nick, but the rand has come free twice now, and even though I’ve managed to glue it back, it’s starting to perish.
I like warm dry feet, and the Meindl’s with Kuiu gators have been awesome, can wade rivers below the tops of my gators and only rarely has water got in. Even with water levels above the gators, as long as I’m not submerged too long they seem to keep me dry.
So time to buy again. I’m reluctant to buy another brand, as the Meindl’s have been so good, but I know there are other good boots out there.
Saw Bivouac has a sale on Scarpa’s, so the question is, anyone have experience with these models, any good?
Or should I bite the bullet and buy another pair of Meindl’s.
