Only if you were doing something stupid with it. I have carried my pocket knife on internal Air NZ flights at least a dozen times and no one has noticed. Don't think you're supposed to though.

I plan to cut stuff that needs cutting? Justification enough for me.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Inches are no longer a real unit (unless you’re fishing).

    Stop it. Now

What about a Swiss army knife. I sometimes carry it everywhere. Bottle opener and useful attachments

Sorry yes they are. I can visualise 4” but not 10 cm. Ask me for a 6 x 2 board no worries but a 150mm x 50mm ...uhh..?

    The Boker looks nice.

Yep it is a true EDC with a high clip for concealed carry. VG10 is very sharp. The Crooked River is a beast in comparison.

Nice little drop point blade too. Like a modern take on a gentleman’s pocket knife. VG10 is a good steel. IIRC Spyderco standard offering for blade material and does well.
Early days yet but I am taking a liking to the PM2 and the CRUWEAR blade. Crazy sharp and has yet to to dull. I can’t help stropping it more though and it just gets sharper.

Yes Spyderco is a hard beat for EDC. I have a Native 5 in S35VN made in the US and the Centofante is VG10 from Seki City Japan. The latter opens as though it is spring assisted it's that good.
