Pretty much a newy here, made few rough knives and axes from crosscut saw blades ( no where near the skill of you blokes ) but I usually modify some existing piece to get what I'm after and I do a bit of leather work......anywho, here's a bit of show and tell.......sorry about the poor pics

Made this for a mate at work.

...modified my Schade Old Timer to a better blade shape...

For the old chook across the road...
    And some in progress stuff

and finally a bit of general leather work

That's some nice work mate. There is a thread "playing with leather " you might like to check out.

    Mamba hunter in 12C27 stainless.
Latest one off the bench and away for the Roar. Different type of finish , more of a satin look.
Lime green Juma, stabilized Maple and Black / Purple Acrylic. G10 liners and pins and my first use of a Mosaic pin.

Fully skinned my first beast today, no help from the other half.

A lamb shot by Mr H. I forbid him to skin them because he makes a shocking job of it and I can't use the hides for anything. He does gut them thankfully.
Knife is a fake cold steel AD10. As is usual in our house, he saw it on Ali Express for $65.00 delivered so purchased it. He thought it was real so was getting a bargain but then saw the real thing for $339.00 here in New Zealand and realised it was fake.

Now I don't care what a knife looks or feels like normally, despite Mr H's excitement about any hunting tool I normally just say "that's nice dear" and carry on. But I tried this fake, and Wow! Bazinga! I'm sold! It feels lovely in my hand and you can't kill it! So good and sharp. I watched a video of a couple of Dutch boys, on DBK, trying to destroy one and they couldn't!
    Totally recommend it.

Wow! I can’t help but wonder what action that dagger might have seen.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Classic fillet knife for a local spearo. Simple stabilised swamp kauri handle and nitro v blade at 61rc with a medium to stiff flex profile. Convexed down to almost zero edge so should cut super well without being chippy.

Extra long handle as owner has big hands. This will see a fair few fish...

Bought these last weekend. The Sheffield folding knife is good, $10.99, I have another but they do need a good cleaning up with a whetstone to get them razor sharp, this one has a burr from the factory sharpening. The Green River outdoors knife is great, $41.99, I did run it over a leather strop to improve the edge. I was really impressed with the Bahco knife, like a razor blade and didn't have to touch up the edge in any way, lady at the shop said they get alot of farmers buying them, sold six to one farmer few weeks ago. I'm going back in tomorrow to buy another maybe two, at $13.95 each why not?
