    Finished My first knife this avo. Made from 1084 high carbon, satin finished with OD G10 scales.
    I heat treated it, it took a good edge and is shaving sharp, but well see how well it holds an edge.

    Nice knife Nick.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Here's mine custom made by Bahco, they even gave me a flash orange sheath so I wouldn't loose it. I did customise it a bit more and add the blue string

    Started making this last week , pleased how its turned out I went the whole hog & made a bit of a kiln got it glowing & dipped it in cooking oil 3 times & tempered it in the oven , its got a wicked edge on it be interesting to see how it holds an edge , wood is jarrah .
    Im eyeing up a chainsaw bar now

    Any reason for the triple Heat Treat? If a file skates across the edge after the first one call it good and temper from there. Instead of mystery steel Grab some 1084 or 1075 then you know you'll have a knife that holds an edge afterwards. I can send you some 1084 to try if you want
