Just finished, spalted French Box wood handle, full tang and full grind in 14c28n.
Decided after calling myself Medusa Knives that the different knives I make will be named after the snakes in her hair so this model is the TAIPAN.

More to come, I think this one maybe sold but not certain. PM me if interested and I will confirm.

Lovely bit of timber on that handle man. Nice clean design also. Really need to get the shed setup and finish a few more knives

Bark River Gunny hunter LT in Elmax. Its very svelte, I really like it. Natural canvas micarta handle which is nothing like the photo on DLT for colour but its nice. A question - is there some way of wet forming the sheath to the knife? Do you soak the sheath with the knife in it or soak it and then put the knife in it or is it not a thing at all? The sheath is ok but not a great design.

Wet the sheath with the knife in it. I wipe the sheath with a wet rag until its soft. Then form the leather around the handle using your fingers and finger nails. Then let it dry with the knife in it. Elmax shouldn't rust but if you are worried about that put a bit of glad wrap around the blade before you do it. If it is still loose stick a corn pad dressing on the inside back of the sheath.

Awesome thanks mate. It isnt loose but it doesnt have a positive “stop” or “click” as the handle locks into place. It just sort of comes to a friction stop. The Phoenix you sold me ( i think it was you?) has a wet formed sheath and you can feel the handle lock into place which is satisfying and reassuring.
