Apologies didn't have my glasses on
Looks like a badlands monster fanny pack if I'm not wrong. Around 17 litres of space, very roomy.
Another vote for the Swazi Buffalo Bag from me too
Quiet in the bush, but the zip can tap on your rifle if your rifles alung over your shoulder
Room for 1st aid kit, PLB, drink bottle, dog lead (think thin string), and a few other essentials. And that's without opening up the large compartment
@Waipuna I use duct tape over zips, even over the buckle on the dog's collar to stop "clinking". I've also covered a plastic buckle on my Twin Needle GPS holder as it would clank against the metal on the browning lever action. Used fabric glue and some old fleece to cover it with a bit of blue foam. No more knocking. Will also replace metal tabs with cord and tidy up excess bag straps with electrical tape. Will colour Hunting Brand logos (why oh why do they use white, Hunters Element are the worst offenders) with red/black sharpie marker. Nothing worse than flashes of white when moving slowly through the bush. How do we often spot deer in the thick - movement and the white of their rump.

As mentioned, I'm not keen on zips for various reasons. If I'm stuck with them, I cut off all metal zip tabs and replace with shock cord. It's amazing how much noise those metal tabs can make. It sounds like Santa is coming!

@Zedrex you really want to try the Badlands on before hitting the "buy'' button. Don't know if they are stocked in NZ. Serious serious capacity. Very very well built. As stated I use a Twin Needle Capsule 2 which is 6-7 litres and two compartments tops. I can fit a small packable rain jacket in, but normally just use a fleece top (Swandri Bush Shirt) and tie it on the outside if getting hot. The Badlands - you've got double the capacity.

This is very true - I've had a badlands before, and while it is massive in terms of usable space etc, it is also very bulky too. It was also annoying on my back with that weight - didn't suit me. If there was anyone near you with one available on the forum would be ideal to try on first.
Definitely, there's a fine line between just enough and too much for a bum bag eh, may as well use my boundary pack if I want more than the bum bag capacity, the HE bumbag has loops which are just big enough to go around a windproof/waterproof jacket.... I'd just like the pockets on the bag to be a little bit bigger...
