Sig Scope Warranty?
Anyone done a damage warranty claim for a sig scope? Took a savage tumble on a river bed with my Sierra3 BDX and managed to put some good gouges on the glass that are pretty obvious when looking through it. Interestingly the electronics are still working fine. Have emailed NZ distributor but curious to know if anyone has had any luck getting repairs or replacement?
Sigs Marketing claims:

Damage from a fall might be outside warranty claims, but you’d hope that repair would be supported

Yeah contents insurance will be next step. The wording in the warranty says ‘We will repair or replace your SIG SAUER product in the event it becomes damaged or defective, at no charge to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition.’ So figure it is worth a nudge first.

Try. Sig is a reputable company. Worse case scenario the NZ distributor sends it to the States for repair or they replace it.
From my experience recently with my scope. Swarovskiv stand 100% behind their products.
Be up front about it and ask!l for help!
