    Sleeping bag

    Hi there

    I'm after a good quality sleeping bag,any push in the right direction!

    The environment will be lower south island so it needs to be able to handle the cold,I'd pref like a lightweight one...

    HELP!

    Kahtmandu have a sale on at the moment (the only time you would want to buy anything there) and they do some good down bags.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    I think we've talked about this before pretty recently?

    I special ordered mine from H&F in Christchurch (real good buggers down there) and just checked - it's still not a normal stock item. It's a "Camping and Tramping New Zealand" branded bag. Mummy shape, french alpine down, comfort -30C. Weight around 900g from memory.

    I am a girl and I winge and get cold, hence why I splashed out and got a super toasty bag this one definately fits the bill. I've never been cold even in a bivvy bag and snow, no tent, no cuddle buddy.
