Thread: Sleeping bag advice

Have really liked my exped, not sure which model. Have woken up to 2" of snow on the ground outside the tent and not needed it zipped up. I do have an insulated mat which helps.

Anyone tried wear on earth sleeping bags? Have their down jacket and live in it over winter, yet to see or hear about their bags

I think Blair custom makes them for mountaineers doing everest n that. Dunno if they're a backpacking suitable bag, I haven't asked him

Thanks very much for all the advice, the Halo looks like a good bet to me.
I still like the shape of the Nemo riff but I do like supporting NZ companies where I can and a lack of an NZ based distributor for warranty issues etc does put me off a bit.
