    Hey man what did you end up with I’m currently looking at Domex halo was tossing up between light and normal talked to a guy today who’s got one and said he got cold in the halo normal north island 3 days ago and it hasn’t been that cold so 650 dollars and still getting cold sounds bad

    It depends on how you sleep I get hot in the super light but I do love it.

    @msingleton If I am worn out from a big day and not eating enough I could get cold in the fairydown Polar.
    Other times I roast. So the answer is buy the bigger 1.1 kg halo and take a down jacket as well that you can wear in your bag or as a layer when glassing

    How are you guys that have the domex superlight getting on with them? Particularly in the colder months. Is it more designed to be a summer bag? And how are they lasting?

    i use mine all year round, in colder weather use a silk sleeping bag liner and in summer dont worry about it as it adds afew degrees to the bags rating

    Sleeping bag is only as good as the sleeping pad its on, found this out with my new domex halo superlight used my old mat and was chilly got a new 4.7R clymit mat and was toasty warm
