Thread: Tent Hire South Island

G'day all. I have been searching for a place where I might be able to hire a large tent and tarp for a West Coast tahr and chamois hunt. As I am from Aussie, the practicalities of lugging a large tent and tarp aren't viable. The party could be 3-4 people so
to have a decent base camp would be ideal. The tarp I could buy, and ditch or donate after the trip. The tents I've seen for hire in Christchurch don't really fit the bill. I would appreciate any advice ,If not, we can use hiking tents and just have a
well rigged tarp for cooking and gear storage. Thanks
