    Teton sleeping bags

    Any one know what they're like & is there any thing I need to know regards keeping it in good condition?
    It rated -32c or -25f , XL size bag ,flannel lined ,quite bulky & at 9.5 lb isn't a light weight .$109 US seemed like a good price for a bag like this or did I buy a Lemon ?
    In Bargain Cave on Cabelas -Camping

    My old bag rated -10c didn't cut it in spring CNI ,was pretty extreme conditions the front had some serious cold white stuff in it.But figured was time to up grade the old bag had done 20+ years I guess.

    Freezing point in Celsius is 0.
    Freezing point in Fahrenheit is +32 F

    re-read the material - something's hinky in what you've quoted

    -32C is -25F. No need to re read?
    The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

    C = 1/2 x (F - 30)
    Looks strange when you look at it but maths never lies!
    Mine is rated to -32 also (kathmandu moonraker) and I almost had to put both legs in it on a cold night the other week. Whats the comfort rating? Thats the one that makes the real difference.

    I'm eating my piece of (ice-cold) humble pie, and will engage my brain fully before putting fingers into motion.

    Just remember that is the extreme survival rating and that comfort for male adult would be around -10 to -16 and as long as you got some insulation you will be toasty warm. Nothing like not having to wake up with ovaries.
