I made a paracord necklace, tuck it down my jacket when not using it. Works for me

The Twin Needle large thermal pouch is awesome but only if you were wearing it by itself as it’s quite big. With a bino harness and that, it’s a bit ridiculous.

Using a Hunters Element Apex Bino Defender - magnum size. Fits my Range finding bino's during the day, and plenty of room for a large thermal handheld at night.
Has a pouch for cellphone, separate pouch for magazines, and has room in a side pocket for my PLB.
Had a Eberleystock bino harness previously, and it was too small for everything to fit.

Fits on belt or belt pak or shoulder strap nicely and has secure clips so risk of falling off is very low. Fits a pulsar or pard handheld well

Lanyard around my neck and inside my shirt. Batteries last a lot longer if kept warm down the front of my shirt.

I tried chest packs but don't like them. This holds the thermal, 8x32 Swaro, spare batteries and my phone.

Interesting. Ive been looking at one of these from our member Bushlife: https://bushlifenz.com/products/mff-rig

The reason being that now thermals are so good the need for big kick arse binos has diminished. Not palatable for some, but true story. Im thinking I might get something like the compact Zeiss 10x25 and then attach them and the thermal in bespoke pouches on my chest. Neat and tidy.

I will maybe look for a good used set of these or such like. https://www.jacobsdigital.co.nz/coll...x25-binoculars

Restraint is the better part of dignity. Don't justify getting even. Do not do unto others as they do unto you if it will cause harm.

I got an ex army water bottle pouch sewn on the side of bino chest pouch but not good crawling over the ground pushing rifle in front to get a shot, starting to think about something on belt maybe to the side?
