    Torch mounts

What scope too torch mount do you use? 1" to 1", 30mm to 1".
Mine are bulky and take a bit of fiddling, but strong. I am keen on a good quick set up, and where to get them.

    Cheers

I have a 25mm high weaver mount on the torch and a modified fig of 8 mount cut up and fixed to the scope.

My set up is pretty much the same. I need an allen key to mount thr torch. Bit fiddly and you have to carry an allen key around, which I have misplaced on the odd occasion.

    +1

Get a mate to hold it we take turns about.

I'm sure we could mod it Dave to have a wing nut or something? Make it faster?

A little bulky, but can be moved from weapon to weapon very easy, adapts super quick to any size scope, barrel, tube ect.

Got it from DX for around $3 and with free postage it's worth a go.

I use the same setup as scottrods. Take a figure 8 and cut off the plain end and wrap it round the scope. Then put a weaver ring of appropriate size on torch. 1/2 figure 8 stays on the scope and just put torch on and off at will. Very quick and can have a torch either side of scope.

The torch in the picture is setup so that I can put tall versapod type bipod on and off without removing torch when attached to barrel weaver rail on shortened 22lr. Just slide hand forward on fore end with digit extended to turn on and off. Good thing is they have finally brought out a 30mm version of the figure 8 so I can get rid of the barrel mount and mount 2 torches on the 30mm scope tube. Though I still like the easy switch position under the end of the barrel. One torch good for 150m two can still identify stock at 300m or more.

I use a nylon and velcro mount (quick and easy and remarkably stable)

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

The nylon one is ok but not as straight all the time. I use one for spare if I'm out with a mate and he doesn't have a mount.
My mounts on the torches have a big knurled screw head - not allen keys, so easy to change.

nope. I've bought my 13yr old a JW 15 too, and it's a complete setup with it's own lights and suppressor. So what I can't shoot he already has hit.
