    Uniden UH515

    Hey Guys,

    The topic of UHF radios has probably been discussed ad nauseam but I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HHD...-CB-Handheld-2. They seem reasonably priced with specs that should do the trick.
    Alternatively what do you recommend?

    I'm going on a SI tops trip next month and want to be able to hear @Philipo whisper sweet nothings in my ear from across the gully.

    No experience with that exact model, but i do have unidens older 2 watt units, they are ok, but i will be buying 5 watt UHF's. 2 watt just isnt enough, so i would have thought 1.5 watt would be even worse.

    these ones are 1.5 on low and 5w on high from what I can gather?

    Havnt got those ones but I've got older mil spec unidens and work good switchable 1.5 to 5w
