Thread: Wanted, Advice on Scales

Has anyone had anything to do with these? They look like value for money but would like to hear of real world experiences.
Looking for a set of scales for weighing fish. Always hopeful of needing 250 plus kg capacity.
Not for any legal purpose, sales etc, so don't need to be certified.
Or, would anyone recommend any other model/brand?

personally I would go manual over digital all day long...there just has to be plenty of options out there and very easy to verify weighing correctly.

Try arrow warehousing in Auckland there's are pretty reliable and cheaper then wedderburn

The 300kg crane scales you get on trade me are the same as the game gear ones I’m pretty sure. My mate has the game gear one and I’ve got the trade me ones and they do look like the same thing. Difference is the trade me ones are $50. Seem to give accurate enough weights. As long as you’re not trying to weigh a world record on them you’ll be fine haha

I gave the Game Gear ones to @craigc as a present a couple of Christmas' ago. He might comment.
