Wet weather jackets on a budget!

    G'day fellas.

Looking for a new wet weather jacket (can't afford Swazi atm!) what would you recommend under $350?

I've heard the new HE gear isn't half bad and few sales on atm, also how good/bad is the new Ridgeline Evolution stuff?
Have a marmot lightweight jacket for running but after something bit tougher for the bush/tramping.

    Send us ya wisdom,
    Cheers.

Nothing wrong with the stoneycreek stowit jacket, get a size you can layer up underneath.

What size are you? There is/was a Earth Sea Sky Hydrophobia for sale on here for $250. You wont find a better jacket no matter what you pay

It's a plastic bag with arms, you get just as wet inside the thing as outside.

Its a medium. I am A large in most things but use a medium Hydrophobia on farm

we have plenty of HE gear, some of it is years old and still warm and dry. my only gripe is that they fade like crazy after a time. the wifes coat which she keeps in the ute has gone from jungle camo to almost grey, the dog bed which is made of the same material has also faded from sunlight exposure.
