Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

Can ya repair huntech?? Makes ya want to cry. Yeah I would say the huntaway, although the miklat is a nice light bag too but only 40l.

yea, I miss my old huntech day pack (35L) roughly, yet to find anything as good,
Got a 35l hunters element one, not bad, but noisy in the bush, and a small 20l, stonycreek, its at least quite in the bush, but not overly comfortable,
Nearly all the modern day pack are too noisy in the scrub, and not overly durable, must have a look at sum of USA gear, ie kuiu, Cactus, for a day pack suitable for overnight use,
Almost tempted to go back to the old suger sack, if you can still get them.

Yep it's my go to day pack.
It's been to hell and back
I use a Eberstock team elk pack for carrying out animals for people, it'll take all my gear and a deer.

That Weka looks the business, nothing on the outside to get caught up.

I've got a Macpac Tekapo (25L) and have thrashed it tramping for nearly ten years but I find that the straps are too thick for me to shoot off hand with. It's a very tough material too so durable but noisy.

Summer day walks I use a Pikau but it's a bastard if you want to keep getting in and out for water etc. usually wear my binos around my neck and just tuck into my tshirt.

Winter I switch between two Hunters Element packs - kind of need one in between.

HE vertical I think it's called, just the little guy (15L). Good for jetboating as well as hunting, two main compartments and little places in between the front compartment for little items, I especially like the clip for your keys. Also has a rain cover. Oh and also its internal material is blue so it makes finding stuff easy. It's easy to wipe out with a damp cloth if you get rabbit meat or anything inside it.

Next one up is the Contour pack. I've been really disappointed with this one unfortunately. It looks like a really spiffy pack and has s great harness system..I was going to use this as my over night bag but guess what, it's more pack than packable space if you know what I mean. Like it looks big for a day pack (25L) but I can't fit fuck all in it. The main compartment ends up a weird shape and awkward to get stuff out of. I'm a bit gutted I gave the Boundary pack to my BF and kept this one for myself!

She loves the free fresh wind in her hair; Life without care. She's broke but it's oke; that's why the lady is a tramp.

Have a look at the Kuiu ICON PRO 3200. Around 50l but has compression straps so volume can easily be reduced
