    WIDE boots- any ideas

Been trying to get new boots as the old ones are shot, and the ms says it wont do 3 km never mind 3 months, i reckon shoe goo and gaffer tape shell be right

Anyone got the issue that boots are too narrow and made for elven feet, not even gonna talk about dress shoes
My workboots are from a mob called Wideload. In yank land there is a size width called 6E. Anyone got any ideas of wider boots. used to be a 11.5 or 12.5, tried on a 15 today out of frustration, wide enough but theres about 1.5 inch in the front toe too much, and the calve area is massive. Tried on a Merrel MOAB 3 - but light but... 13 wide but 1 inch too long
I dont care about what type of boot it is anymore - wanted solomon but they are skinnier than an ethiopian lizard drinking water.

Look up Öboz" Bridger, they do wide fit option
Waterproof and very comfy for wide feet.
Not ideal for rocky terrain but good in the bush
Shop around as they come up on special Retail about $350

Meindle,Lowa and Hanwag all make different width boots. You might have to import them yourself.

You are on the right track with the half sizes. You may or may not already know but with the likes of John Bull, the 11 is the same length as the 11.5 but the 11.5 is wider. If it is too long, come down one whole size but keep at the half.

Yes for years, Viberg and Wesco's. Absolute luxury and you could get them rebuilt for less than half the price of new.I don't think viberg still makes workbooks but Wesco does.

Kenetrek boots are guite good but pricey. I use the Mountain Extreme 400 and love them. Perfect out of the box, no blistets or hot spots. You get to choose narrow , medium or wide in whatever size you need.
