Had my last shoot for the season this morning. Shot a drain on the farm. Without a recce. 6 reals come in and none left.
Typically as I packed up at 8:30, a heap more circled.
Gun was unloaded and out of reach.
Got a pair of parries as I walked back to pick up my truck. Loving the 20g smelly bennelli. Game bore 30g 3's working very well.

I will be out somewhere shooting something. It will be nice when the distraction of duck season is over and we can get back into some decent goose shooting!

Sounds good! I have only one pond I can say if left alone, would be loaded after a decent feeding regime. Even on the west coast, retards think its ok to walk across private land to a pond loaded with ducks and jump shoot it. Complete fucktards.
Had it happen a few times and once the culprits were seen by someone but the observer wouldnt tell me who they were. Pisses me off that certain people can be so fricken selfish.
Considering the time and money that goes into grooming a pond.

Hope you have a good shoot.

Cheers R93.I would put a trail cam by my pond. Catch them and make an absolute example of such behaviour. Id rather let guys fuck my sister before poaching my duck ponds ( not that I have a sister but its up there with that sort of offending ).

    LMFAO!! Classic!!

TBF I dont bother feeding the ponds that have a chance of getting jump shot by selfish pricks now. And when it really worried me there, were no game cams around like you can get now.
But I will keep it in mind if I try it again.
10 yrs ago, I reckon if I caught someone, I would I have given them the hiding of their pathetic life. I would at the very least, when caught, trash their vehicle, and shoot their dog.
If I got my ass kicked, I would go out of my way to torment them for ages. But I was as mean as a cut snake back then

I want to get out but have mother-in-laws birthday today and work tomorrow. Must be time to have a good go at the geese.

Jayzus some people need reminding what sex they are!!!!

I would test the plate and spring, on an old rusty Gin-trap with my deformed danglers, before I missed anything, to go to my mother in laws. Fricken She-devil! I have to do something as drastic soon, coz I am running out of excuses.
