    CSI Pheasants

    May be passing through the Ashburton/Timaru/ Waimate area this season at some stage and wondering what the public land pheasant hunting is like round those parts. Worth spending a day or two in the area stretching mine and the dogs legs?

    Plenty of ducks,few pockets of quail,very very few chuckor up high and pheasants where folks have released them is my experience.
