    Drone

Any of you get a drone?
Apparently some anti shooting idiots flew their drone around a duck shooting spot, and it got shot down.
I wonder what else they thought would happen?

And plod was called and the shooting party were last seen walking away from their duckshooting with plod. Apparently was on Ellesmere, where one is required to have a permit to fly a drone over public conservation land. And apparently the drone "pilot" was a certain activist called Nick Hancock, an individual thats not renowned for complying with the law at times.

Flying a drone to deliberately annoy someone with a shotgun is one of the daftest things I've heard!

Whilst it is a bit naughty to shoot at a drone, come on. They have shown how stupid they are
Although it could get the shooter in trouble, but I hope the rozzers think better of it and go with who started it first

The ironic thing was the crew from "RED STAG TIMBER HUNTERS CLUB did exactly the same IIRC last year when the cameraman flew the drone over the ducks to get a duckseye view of impending doom!and he got a little low
unlike this crowd though the boys put it down to experience!

well it seems the protestors have scored an "own goal".we laugh at them not with them. perhaps you big macho duck killers out there could send sympathy cards ....or no ..no ..no fuckdrone fly lice recipes maybe . well mr digit on organ(hand cock) you sir have had one of them days.! even the mallards are laughin their tits off.
lookat the phot -dumpy wqee chick holding the honkfor goose sign .shooters three ranks goosecalls to lips commence the canada mating call on repeat .wonder how long theyd last before suffering kicked in!

    What a bloody drongo!
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

It will be interesting whether or not the police can prove that the drone was intentionally shot down or merely caught in the cross fire flying over a lake on opening weekend

hohum well from an activist POV the day could well have got little more galling .as for said top guns intention to retrieve his drone with simcard undamaged ah pal Methinks you know 67/8 about how toxic avian shit is and ellesmeres full of it and other assorted goodies !the bed of ellesmere is as soft as fresh cowshit too and as pongy,so youre about as optimistic as a sirloin steak at a vegan dinner party!

It will be very interesting to see what comes of this from a legal standpoint.
Presumably he would have demanded a prosecution if it was possible.
You’d have to assume it’s not illegal or coppers would have charged someone already.
I guess proving who shot it would be difficult.

Also interesting he claims to be an experienced pilot with a license and was allowed to fly. Yet above someone says you’re not allowed to fly a drone there?

Depending what's on the drone memory card, it could come under endangering an aircraft or criminal damage. It could have been a search and rescue drone or a news drone. Plus must have been one of the only shots off on Elesmere over the weekend ha

To be an animal rights activist is it mandatory to look like that?
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
