Interesting question as weren't interested when jet boats were running ducklings over deliberately on lake opuha a year or two ago... I do know we can't shoot licenced waterfowl from unmored boat on opening weekend BUT the wording is camouflaged rowboat.... There are as many interpretations of the laws as there are lawyers.

A bit of reasonable political support.

I'm not comfortable with red stag guys use of them on geese let alone duck hunts.iscthat us now bird worriers and long range snipers with huge game pummeling rifles almost needing a assistant gunner

in this weeks edition of the CHCH Star(aka 90secs silence)we get a repeated alarmist headline re the downing of the fuckers drone.however acvcording to thewir sources CAAand doc are hovering like seagulls on a half eaten maccas.dorkus of course assures all and sundry hell fly his drone anywhere on erllesmere anywhere duckshootersa are etc accompanied by a diatriber as to his credentials

hate to say this luvly boy but if you persist in flying drones where shooters are harvesting game -the result is almost a foregone conclusionj(seems hes got a stable of em) and your own fucking fault.

OHand IIRC a bloody canada downed an airliner fully laden in the hudson river (US) says to me a drone wont stand a chance if a cranky ol canada takes a dislike to the noisy wee fuck.
Idont think buxom betsy with her honk for geese sgin will be so popular then.

I guess authorities are checking if the operator actually had a permit to operate and if he complied with permit conditions. Be hard to prove who shot the drone down unless the individual admitted it. Police may not be too interested in wasting resources on a prosecution. In the case of a drone that I shot down flying over leasehold ground bordering DOC estate the cops weren’t interested in following up when I took remains into station. Thought they might be able to track the arsehole down but no. All they said was “well done” but just dump the rubbish. Mildly interested to see how this plays out.
