    Duck boat ideas

Here is my latest and greatest, scissor blind that fits the 12ft Parkercraft, remove 4 pins and the sides fold down, remove either 4 clamps or 4 bolts to re,move the lot, doesn’t weigh much either which is a bonus, just need a proper trailer setup to load it onto ,only have standard garden trailer at the moment which means I need to flip the boat onto it to transport ,any other tips to make it more user friendly appreciated..Name: image.jpg

Hey mate, you got any more pictures of the boat without the cover on it?

We used garden trailer for years piece of wood on each mudguard with carpet took most of the weight, couple of thick planks with groove in them kept keel in place. Picked up boat trailer for $150... Whipped off its axel with rooted bearings n bolted on one off our old garden trailer. So much easier with wee hand winch. A set of rollers on rear of your trailer would help no end.

How did you get on with this project??? A couple of V boards inside trailer will work too. Just have to poke boat on trailer and pack it out appropriately then carefully remove boat and set the boards up semiperminately.

Ended up getting a dedicated boat trailer for it,so much easier backing down ramp, push boat into water, ready to roll.
