About LinkBacksWent on a duck hunt on the Hoteo River off the Kaipara on saturday, high tide around midday gave us (3) plenty of time to get set up, on the board with 'our' first shot tied up in the mangroves in the harbour itself
then went for a cruise up the river, absolutely stunning place, my first time, no more birds brought down, few shots fired though....then had a 'couple' of beers with the locals in the Mangakura boat club....
"I'll be back"......
