    Hello everyone and help wanted

    Hi I am in the Ranfurley area for a few days, over on holidays from Western Australia. i am looking to try and get some duck and goose shooting in. Looking for anyone who can point me in the right direction or offer up some contacts, happy to pass on some beers in return. Thanks in advance for any help. I have my own gear. Bloody great weather here at the moment.

    Welcome. @Harryg @oraki do you know anyone in your neck of the woods that can get this fellah onto a bird?
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Well after the quietest duck season I have ever had, I'm back in Oz, thanks goes to the locals in the Paeteroa pub who gave me info on a couple of places to try it wasn't a complete loss, thanks again. See you next year NZ.
