I shot opening weekend with a broken right thumb in a splint, was a challenge that's for sure
If Ross's thumb was just broken he'd still be out shooting. But he's cut through the hydraulic lines so its a tad worse....
Mine was broken pretty well, plate and half a dozen screws. Doesn't sound as bad as Ross though.
Which side of Taupo are you chasing pheasants Ross? If south I might be able to get up for a look
The big K and farms North mostly, but my folks live in Fielding so occasionally Santoft and the Rangatikei, plus the odd trip to the Hawkes Bay - and Rotoehu, and Mangatawhiri...... I'm sorta easy.
Is he the one that backed into a water trough? Bad luck, and poor situational awareness seen to follow him around. I'm sure someone would be safe to go shooting with him though.Quote:
