    Lake Ellesmere Moult Cull

    Reports indicate around 4500 geese culled yesterday-the same day as the Lake Wairarapa cull in what is being seen as a co-ordinated approach by farmers nationwide. Reports indicate Lake Wainono will be culled soon.

    Lat I heard was
    Instead of 10,000 geese (Total population) of Ellesmere being culled, now the target is 2000-3000. There will also be NO moult culling taking place organised by federated farmers in Central Otago during the moult.
