Will have to wait til next year see what this short season brings. Hope it turns into a bumper will have to see what the summer is like again.
Pooks , Plovers , Parries , Pests from here on for next few weeks
Mr D can have a short season next year ,just so he can get all those little fencing jobs done .
And all those that didn't get a shortened season this year .Got a be fair bout these things .
Steady on Chris,I need a longer season to find the buggers. How did you fellas get on? Many birds in the area?
Seemed to be a high percentage of older birds this year ,which explains why they where a bit shy & harder to call in.Wonder if that was due to the dry summer ,they need a fair amount of humidity to incubate their eggs.Maybe the hatch was way down on account of it .Probably similar number to last year, another month for Parries so not all bad .
