Thread: New Maimai, new hunting location?

Can someone please tell me the rules (written or unwritten) about setting up a new maimai on a public land or DOC land hunting location? I know the pegging day rules would then be put in place.

If you pegged a location and only used a laydown blind, would that still be to the rules? would you need to peg or even have a permanent maimai?

I have found a few spots of intrest, but unsure how to go about the above.

This is what I know you have to be 90 mts away from another stand , this could be a peg or hide. Your peg must clearly have your name and licence number on it . Don't know where you are but some iwi have conditions. There's also rules about to close to roads and houses and walkways, don't no them but common sence stuff
