Think another NZ forum had a most barred tail competition last season?
While it's not exactly a monster, here is my longest tail so far this season, taken this morning (see story in game bird diary thread). For a young bird with a small body and tiny spurs, he has plenty of length to him. Went 33 bars.
When he spiralled out of the sky he looked like a helicopter :cool:

That beat my effort from last weekend by 4 bars ,good skills Pointer thats a nice rooster.

No pics sorry, came home to find it half naked feathers everywhere. The boss had decided it was in good nick ('not shot to shit like usual' were her exact words) and had plucked it so no pics
