yes but gsp follower it may well be a great gamebird in its natural country - that all goes out the door when you introduce it here - those rules no longer apply and we have to deal with its breeding rate and impact in what is a foreign country for it to be in - and one would have to say its found NZ very favorable indeed - no predators- no harsh winters - paradise for a goose and now a problem
Ok that’s what pisses me about non professional hunters, we are all a bunch idiots that only educate game.
That’s a self interest prophecy to protect their jobs, natural reaction. I understand. Selling this bullshit is not getting the job done. There is scope for a broad approach, that benefits all.
Let the Farmer decide whether an individual has a few clues, i.e PCP thermal, night vision the birds can be taken quietly with realising what’s going on, zero educating if it’s done right.

this recently farmers dont have to bear the brunt so long as they identify hazards they in the clear
