    Water level

Had a look at the pond while up north for the long weekend and the water level is the highest I hav ever seen it, the posts that @Pointer, uzbeki and me put in for our maimai to sit on top of are under water. Gone from being completly dry at opening to this, I cant see it being dry next opening morning.

A late cyclone coming down from the north can put your possie under water again quick smart. Nothing worse than standing in water shooting ducks. One thing a dog does not like is having a wet tail all day.

My dogs will spend a couple of hours plowing around in the pond in the mud and shit looking for any ducks they have missed, but when sitting in the possie and they feel two spots of rain they want to bolt into the lodge out of it.

Going to talk with the farm manager and see if I can put a weir in to stop it from getting that high again.

You would be the only person on the peninsula that is worried about too much water with summer coming up

Got one dry pond here already and another has just a puddle left in it.They are the shallow night feeding ponds during game bird season.

The river is very low also at the beginning of summer. Have a look through fresh water pics in the fishing section to see it at normal levels.

6th of November it was dirty but not high and the rest of November it 'blew like a dirty hooker' and dried up the waters real quick.

No point cleaning this one out as all waterways have to be permanently fenced. We don't take water from this and at the end of the month it won't be a waterway.

    Took this pic tonight.
