I was given some old taxidermy.I have no idea what this bird is.Yes its stuffed and ugly,and its not coming in the house.
I thought it was a mutton bird but was talking too a guy that said mutton birds are a lot bigger.Some sort of sea bird i'm guessing.

A Sooty,Petral?,the youngsters used to come into the lights at the Factory from Whale island
Its got that much dust an cobwebs it looks sooty but I have no idea I'll take your word madjon.. cheers
I would have guessed Sooty Tern. May be they are the same thing. Don't really know.
Sooty Shearwater my guess. Dunno if its the same beasties as the others pick but thats what I know em as (if I'm on the money).
