    Boat launching at Maitai Bay camp

    Local land owners have closed access across private property to the beach used for launching boats from Dec 19,2019-Jan 30, 2020

    There is a DOC camp at Matai Bay that is typically flow to overflowing over summer,
    It is the Bay adjacent to it that will be closed to to traffic.
    The place gets abused, I can fully understand shutting it down over the peak season,

    And on a further note for up there, There is a big fire in the Ramp Rd area, apparently started after a car crash.
