    canals at or below Tekapo

    Hey all. I want to take my grandkids fishing up here. Can someone point me in the right direction? I mean access road name sort of thing please.

    Malcolm bell is the man to talk to . Go to his shop on Barbados st . He free to give out the info on the canals and will sell you all the right shit for the job . Pays to find out which canals are fishing as the vary . It can be very easy or very hard . Google Malcolm's YouTube methods for fishing the canals with soft baits , they are deadly and kid friendly . Pams frozen shrimp is the other kid friendly way .

    The multicoloured earplugs are good lures on the canals apparently...went there but never got the line wet, too many people...
