    Canned fish

I just tried a taste of the canned salmon that a client gave me last week, which according to the label was caught by one Bob Murphy on the Waitaki and then canned on his behalf.
I am not a fan of canned fish, but this stuff is bloody beautifull.
You South Islanders are lucky to have such a resource.

We used to have all our Salmon canned there when we made the annual family pilgrimage to the river chasing the. Best day we had (many many years ago) was 24 Salmon between 6 of us (6 limit bags) in 2 hours. We went there because you could guarantee the river would be .
I miss those days fishing with my mum,dad and brother. While they are all still around we moved away and never seem to find time to catch up.

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Cool Pengy! Bob Murphy took a heap last year. Our crib at the glenavy camp was lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a 16 pounder from Bob. Would you believe the bloke doesnt actually eat em! Gives them all away!
