Don't forget to jump the strait at some time @Joe Schmo, still bit muddy here at the mo.Attachment 234895
Oh… I just figured out what “jump the strait” means…not only am I American but I’m also very slow. It’s a wonder I can even operate a keyboard.
The local river has broken all records. Now over 1 year and it has never been clear enough to fish. Unreal.
Finally managed to get out for opening, only a week late!
Not the biggest fish but the trip and company made it worthwhile.

A nice brownie caught out of a crystal clear Top of the South River by my daughter on spinning rod.
First brown trout for my daughter so came home for a late dinner cooked over the coals.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ba07cd0eea.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...631550cdc3.jpg
