    charter

I am going to take my Grandkids out for a day fishing in Auckland this year - one day or half day on snapper- not fussed which harbour- they are strong kids 9 and 11 and I can do a lot of the baiting etc for them - dont want one of those muti party type charters - hoping for maybe a smaller operation say a 6-7 meter boat - be 3 adults and two children- any one have an idea of cost and maybe even a recommendation of skipper and where to go many thanks

Yep. 20m planing launch that specialises in trips over the Kaipara Bar. Takes 26 people,,,,,we only take group bookings though but I can sometimes squeeze one or two on if the group is short on numbers.
It wouldnt be ideal for what the OP is suggesting though unfortunately.
