Soooo sweet and tasty! Load up fishface :D
Go for it Pengy. Take a spade and do it like a POME.
They sell them at the supermarket (labled as Clams) - $5.99 for 500g so quite cheap for seafood.
A mouthful of anchovies and sand would taste about the same?:O_O:
They are delicious. You've gotta get them to spit out all the sand they have in em(various ways of doing this), and use em steamed, in soups, any which way, they're all good. Best I've had was raw in a shot of tomato juice, Tabasco and vodka - I'd recommend 4 to start with hahahaha
Dipped in malt vinegar is simple and good.

cooked on a sheet of old corro iron over a fire at the head of the inlet,18 month old kid shouting more, more.
Sheet that was a while ago.
I like practice Fannie's far more!!!! And so does my Dutch mate who wondered what the hell I had in the bowl!:D
Yep soaked in fresh water until they spit out the sand (a day or so) and then cut open and marinated in lime juice for about 20 min with washed onion, garlic and a little chile. Cockle ceviche
