Fish finder for Jet Ski / Kayak fishing

What do you guys recommend? I want one to set up on our jetski, have been thinking Garmin Echo series, but open to ideas. Doesn't need to be the most flash module.

    Thanks
    Josh.

I don't think the brand of sounder matters too much, although some are probably better than others, but think about how you are going to mount it and the transducer. Not always easy on a jetski. I can show you what I did if that helps.

I use a humming bird 718, (5" Black and white) on both of my kayaks, and the 798 on my small boat,
I wouldn't spent lots, if its likely to get wet, and covered salt spray, I like the extra size of a 5" screen over the small compact models,
I view the ones on my kayak as consumable, as beach launching on the west coast, is a tad hard on gear sum days,

Oh yeah, I have a Humminbird 597 which seems to do the job. Re: mounts, I think the old style Humminbirds are the best of the bunch. Electrical connectors are in the mount, so no extra wires to worry about and very neat.
