    I would take "inside the Poor Knights" to mean west of the Knights between the islands and the mainland outside the marine reserve.

    yes it is a marine reserve but we fish outside the boundary on reef structures over 100m deep we fished there today so we could be sheltered from the southeasterly swell in nice calm weather otherwise it would be shit conditions everywhere else
