Last time I looked Harts was nearly dry. Neat spot but that was a long time ago.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Never fished harts but theres massive fish in all those creeks it seems . My mate got a 13 +lb trout a coulple of years back on a thread line, on a stream that comes off the lake . His old man is a retired fly fishing guide and fished all the great rivers ,caught thousands of fish ,mates fish was biggest by far .

I only ever used to fish the last mile or 2 to where it runs into the lake. Anything over 10lb was exciting to play in a wee creek.
I grew up in Leeston until we moved to Ashburton a long long time ago but still would drive back to fish the creek.
When I was llittle we had a family batch at the Upper Selwyn Huts, I wish we (the family) still owned it
