    Forum surfcasting weekend Matata - labour weekend

    Ok I tried to get one of these to happen last year without any joy so thought I would try again seeing the missus and I are going to head to Matata to camp at murphys campground for a weekend of surfcasting over labour weekend. So if anyone wants to join us more than welcome to come along

    Love to join you Hunter but trip into Kaimanawa that weekend other wise I'd be there . No fish @ Matata any ways.

    No worse that y he beach. I managed to get only one trev last weekend. .....oh I miss the ninety mile sometimes.

    Nothing wrong with trevs mate especially smoked, might even look into heading over to whiritoa for a go in a couple of sundays time for a day trip
