About LinkBacksWent out to the Glen hunting vis after a hopeful weekend ...got out there to find the green tide had arrived and in a massive way ..any ideas thoughts on why its so early and thick ...the mud flats are just getting a tinge but a week and it will be the same ...apparently its edabile ...

Google say El Niņo , certainly an interesting pattern of weather ..blue cod are well off the bite, nothing large from the Glen to Stephens on the bite ...this weekend and the last two I have spoken to a number of fishers and being one myself that was plagued by small / undersize cod , a work mate was a Stephens on Monday , no snapper kingi's or Hapuka , and the cod were very average!

I just know its a barstard in the flounder net.....not enough rough weather of late to rip it off? Water temps still around 11-12deg so it hasnt warmed significantly yet....Maybe its a daylight hours thing?

It's magic shit for your garden, my old man gathers it after storms, then leaves it on decking down in the garden for a couple of showers, then parks it on the garden.

I reckon it could be seaweed. Just a theory given the close proximity of the sea.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
