How to remove a fish hook

Enjoy fellas, this guy made me feel like a school girl because there is no way in effing hell I'd do this. Jump on board the string method!

Have had it happen a couple of times (by other people letting their lines swing about in the boat!). On those occasions I just forced it through, cut the barb and pull it back out. Or if its shallow, use some ice to numb it then use a scalpel to cut it out. Last time I actually hooked myself and it was in real deep in my head, had to get the old man to cut it out. Sh*t it was sore
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

They always seem to go in a lot easier than that.

Iv never had the pleasure of removing a hook from flesh(tho that could change if i give this trout fishing a go ) but have seen the line one before, he was doing it wrong and pulling up, he should have been pulling the string from a lower angle in line with the table.
