Should be everywhere round Tasman bay December.
Okiwi got scallops and maybe kings off the islands if your lucky
Take a longline.
dunno why but some days are good on the line and Shit on rods and others the opposite.

Hey Smiddy, (are you Josh James side kick?) any way Pelorus sound is the place to be for Snapper. Drop your boat in at Havelock and head round to the Pelorus.
Just out of Havelock is the Keneperu sound (which is off the lower Pelorus), good Snapper in there as well and a bit more sheltered.
Snapper fishing is easy. Just leave Josh behind
Nothing wrong with freash pannies and the odd Kawhai. My kind of fishing.
Cam got me onto this one , and didn't even have time to try mikees spots http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/10/26/ynahyna4.jpg
Jaysus!
Wow
If you could post up a few more pics that would be great , then I might be able triangulate your position :)
Years ago we just used to fish a couple of hundred yards of Kina beach on the incoming tide . The action was always hard and fast as the schooling Pan sized beauties hit the baits for 5 minutes and then were gone .
Ken
