    My year looking back

    A small slice of some of the better fish I've caught surf casting this year.

    Nothing huge but still an improvement of previous years ,part of the learning curve I guess .

    Good on you Chris. Only taking a meal each time is an excellent thing!
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Ha , a lot of those fish are 5 - 8lbs that's 3 or 4 meals in my book .

    The 2 Trev's 7 1/2 & 8 1/4 lb
    2 pic's with 1 snapper both over 8 lb , the 1 laying on the beach that's a Wrightsons 40kg sack
    The 4 in the fish bin ,it is a full size bin

    nice red's and chris trev's are great table fish mate dont know about the leon ruge though!!

    They where biting this morning round the corner from spotX ,3 nice pannies & 1 Kahawai (eagle ray returned) .

    Yea Neckshot those bigger Trev's I smoke bit oily ,up to 1kg good table fish but better for raw fish .

    Kahawai up to 1kg make bloody good raw fish too Neckshot ,got a be fresh though .
    Lemon juice ,onion ,coconut cream ,few chives,some diced tomato ........
    Couple of days to marinate but worth the wait

    The lettuce has come back again ,any boaties coming this way be warned .Its killed the bite too so be going up the coast next couple of weeks.
