Weather was a bit crap so didn't stay for the tide and we had a good feed so quit while ahead so to speak.

These were a long way off shore but another couple of weeks should have the schoolies in shore fishing range

We got 13 Snaps last Saturday, (you must be keener than me mate). 4 were over 20lb, biggest at 25lb. They were caught on a Long Line tho and a long way out in the bay. King Fish will be here soon too.
Here is one of them. We put the really big ones back but this one was DOA unfortunately

    Nice Mikee

Dunno what they weighed havent got any scales, I guess the biggest would have been 18 20p(bit big to be a "nice" eater) and the others probably 12-15p perfect eating size
The chilly lid on the left is around 650-700mm long(at a guess)

Well done VC. That is more than a good feed.

One fillet(off the biggest one) and a handful of spuds fed our family of four to bursting point
The other fillet off it will feed my two elderly neighbors for a couple of nights
